More Oil Leaks - Any Advice

So....I'm just about finished with a (state 0) on my '98 V70xc, 145K miles. The PCV change went well - I have no pressure when I put the "rubber glove" on the oil filler hole, both at idle and when revving the engine. I did change out the oil dipstick o'ring, with the PCV change, as well as the oil filler cap gasket - I've also changed out the Oil Pressure Sending Unit. Everything seemed to be good? BUT, I still have a leak I can't track down....ugggh. The leak appears on the front of the engine at about the height of the Oil Sending Unit. It leaks down the front of the oil pan, and proceeds to blow back along the whole underside of the car. (I'm not finding any leaks at the backside/turbo side of the engine, on the topside, or at either end "TB area, or RMS area".) I've ordered a new dipstick tube, dipstick, and dipstick o'ring since there seems slight oozing from that area, but would that be enough to blow up that high on the block, as well as coat the underside of the whole subframe? I'm also concerned about the split line on the block leaking in the area on the sketch - it does not appear to be leaking at the oil pan....anyone have issues with leaks there? So, I'm going to clean the oil off, again...replace the dipstick components...recheck all bolts on the block and oil pan and give it a try. If more leaks occur, I do have some Dye to put in the oil to check for leaks under a black light. If the dipstick doesn't solve the problem, would anyone recommend trying some of the "stop leak" products - since I don't want to have to pull the engine for a leak at the split line? (I was thinking a Lucas brand stop leak - or other recommendations?)

Does it look like it could be the pressure sensor itself?

There's also a few lines that run past that area - a leaking crimp can blow oil/PS fluid/what have you all over the place.

Thanks for the reply... I've replaced the Oil Sensor, and have retightened after running it for a while. I don't see any oil lines running through this area... The oil line seems to be at the height of the oil sensor, either from it still leaking or from oil blowing up into this area from another spot when the car is in motion? Is there anything behind/above the starter motor that could be leaking down onto the split line of the block - and then down the front of the oil pan? I've looked at the power steering lines that run past there..they are wet from engine oil - I haven't lost any steering fluid (Res stays full). I also looked at the Oil lines to the thermostat - no leaks, and I've replaced the O'rings on the Oil lines at the Radiator. So, more cleaning and dipstick work - hoping that will resolve. (Anything else up underneath the Intake Manifold?)

Nothing else there except the oil separator box (slightly over to the left, though).

But unless you overtightened the hose on the right - or it blew up shortly after replacing it - it shouldn't be leaking.

Oil Separator box and hose appear clean/dry. I will recheck the bottom hose from the block to the box, and will check anything up and under the intake manifold. (Oil appears to be centered on the block, or more towards the driver side...)

I almost sold my 98 S70 because of oil all over the place. I changed the PCV system, crank and cam shaft seals and oil cooler lines.

Dry as a bone now.

Thanks to Jblackburn ' PCV slides and many other folks on this site.

What a deal it would have been for someone to pick up my S70 for $1400.

Try the oil cooler lines. Right front,

Thanks aahmes57... (Refernce to "front of engine" = radiator side, not TB side) Going to go back under to clean up the oil and replace the dipstick o'ring. Will look for anything else that I may see around the PCV area. I did replace the oil cooler line o'rings at the radiator - there are no leaks on the lines themselves, at the radiator, or at the oil thermostat. I do not see oil high up on the block - just probably at a line even with the oil pressure sending unit. (It may be coming down from higher up, but I don't see anything in the cam cover area and don't know of any areas under the intake manifold more towards the center of the block or towards the starter side that would cause this?) Well, back at it...otherwise thinks are OK.

I had a strange leak on the back of our S70 once. There are 3 plates on the back of the block and one of them was leaking. The gasket kit from Volvo was about $8 and only one of the access ports was leaking. It drove me crazy for about a week. Not sure if the front side of the motor has these as well.

Just looked at pics with the manifold off. I don't see any of them there. Just the knock sensor bolted there.
