2001 S80

Greetings, everyone. I am new to the forum.

I bought my first Volvo several years ago, and fell in love. It was a 1986 240DL. It was an eclectic and reliable with a great turning radius. It saved me a great deal of injury during a head-on collision, and ever since then I always said that I would get another Volvo someday.

Well, two weeks ago I did. I bought a 2001 S80 2.9 with all the gizmos I could ever desire. The automobile is immaculate and drives perfectly. It has 147,000 miles on it. I know that is high, but I thought I would take a chance.

I will admit that I am worried about future repairs, but it is mine now. I plan to baby it and do everything necessary to keep it running smoothly.

Is there anyone here that can shed some light on this model and year with this amount of miles and perhaps tell me some good advice?
