Sloshing sound after it rains

After a good rain, I hear sloshing from the dashboard area when I make turns.

I never smell anything wet or moldy and I have a very keen sense of smell (bugs the heck out of my husband).

It slowly dissipates as I drive the car, especially if I drive a distance on the freeway.

A year or two ago, the floor on the driver's side was soaked. As far as I know, this was the only time this happened. Don't know whether this is related to the sloshing but I have had the sloshing often and this only once.

I asked the dealer when the car was in for service but of course it hadn't rained for awhile and there was no sloshing.

Pull the cowl drains and clean them most likely clogged with leaves and after driving it sloshes around enough to drain out! Also check your rear drain tubes!!!!!
