Got a few probs on my 99s80 t6

1. Blueish smoke on start up and when i stuck my finger up the exhust pipe and to the side there was oil on my finger?

2. The hose that leads from the turbo just after the twin pipe that runs over the top of the engine, I took it off and there is oil on the walls of the pipe and leaking from another pipe to the right of the radiator when your standing in front of the car???

3. Dont know how to explain this one so here go's, keep getting a knocking from the front end when i go over a bump plus when you go over the slightest bump it feels like your driving on cobbles and also when i go over 40 get a rumbling from the front.

Any help would be great

Thanks in advance

I cant help with the first two, but for the third one...the knocking that you hear when you go over bumps is most likely the front sway bar link/stabilizer bar. I had the same problem and it cost about $200 to fix (100 for parts). I've heard its not to hard to change it yourself if you want to.

The oil in the intake can be caused by one of two things typically. First,(and hopefuly not) the turbos may be failing. This is very rare so it's probably the second alternative- a blocked breather system. This is quite common on vehicles with a milage around 100 000km (62 000mi) or so. It is a little difficult to check, so you may want to have someone familliar with the car look at it. If this is the case, you may have noticed other oil leaks as well, indicating a pressure build up in the crankcase.
