No way, I paid for a new ETM so it (or another FREE ETM from Volvo if that what it comes to, but it stays).
Even at my low price (about $550 plus software) I'm not paying for another throttle from anyone.
One of my Volvo techs said to come over after work and he would hook it up and watch all the parameters again while it's acting up, and go from there.
Very minor issue but I'm stumped

I had a 850 that did that. It was a '95 T-5R. I'd have the cruise set at 65 or something like that and while cruising I could see the tach bounce between 2200 and 2500. I would remove the cruise and try to hold it steady with my foot and it would still surge a little back and forth. Didn't do it all the time, just every once in a while.
Never did worry about it or figure it out. Sold the car. I'm not sure if my wagon is doing it. I'll have to check.

Nothing has worked and if fact it may be a bit worse!!
If I blip the gas while standing still the idle still drops down to 700 or so and bounces back and now it's starting to do this while braking when driving.
Totally at wit's end.
Spent over $400 on parts, everything related is new, yet nothing is solving this odd issue.
It runs great, it''s smooth and quick, the gas mileage got a bit better, yet this idle,......

Have you changed ALL vacuum lines (even the brake booster one?)
When that stupid PCV hose to the top of the valve cover kept coming loose from the clamp on my car, it would do that whole idle dip thing. Same with a small crack in the SAS control vacuum elbow.

Seafoamed the car, swapped fuel rails....AND STILL THE SAME ARRRRGH!!!
Everyone is stumped from the head tech and service manager at Keystone Volvo to Volvo corporate (the engineers at Rockleigh)!
Next thing they said was do a hard reboot (disconnect and hold the battery cables together for 30 minutes).
I don't see how that will help in this case but I'll try anything

I just read where someone wrote about the battery cable process to clear up an alarm issue.
