XC 70 Catylitic converter question

Is it possible to get enough positive pressure due to a broken or blocked Catalytic converter to give the impression that the PCV system is clogged? I have a new PCV system but still getting vapor coming up from the dipstick. Thanks https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... e=post&f=1#

Sometimes it takes a few weeks to clear up. Did you clean the prots in the motor out? Did you have an EGR valve?

It would be highly unlikely they are connected.

The PCV after being replaced will only operate correctly if the connection to the intake manifold and intake pipe were cleaned at the same time. Many forget to clean out the vacuum tree or vacuum port as well as any connection your pcv has to the intake tube. There is sometimes a valve on the intake tube called a PTC that gets gunked up
