1993 850 SRS light code wanted

Hi forum,I have a 1993 850 thas got the SRS light activated.The last time I asked for help the forum suggested I find out which sensor was the problem so as you could give me the code to deactivate it.I have since had it deactivated by volvo at a cost of $45 ( AUD ) but as it seems to happen about once every 6 months its just got to be easier to get the code and the technical know how on how to insert the code etc.Thanks very much for the advice,the car is a model sold in Australia.Cheers Buster
P.S The faulty sensor is the one under the airbag in the steering wheel.(or so volvo are telling me)

4 weeks later...As no one answered my dumb question I thought id google it,got on to wiki answers .com and it had a very simple step by step tutorial on how to reset 1993 850 codes.Im a dummie at mechanics but that guy (or girl) made it so easy to follow,it took me 5 minutes under the bonnet and ill keep the $ 40 bux volvo would have charged me to do the job and ill go out for dinner instead.Volvo engineers must have been retarded to even contemplate incorporating such a stupid invention as the OBD,what a cash cow.

Have you read the codes from B5? and reset the codes from B5?

Finally welcome to the forum. Sometimes posts get lost because when us Aussies post the other side of the world is sleeping and the post gets pushed further away.

Your profile says 1997 850SE but your question relates to a 1993 850. You may have confused the members with your profile as there are a lot of differences b/w years this far apart.

I can't get my local Volvo dealer to sneeze at my car unless I spend a half hour minimum which is $85
