Delta link bushing removal special tool (Volvo P/N 9995497) for loan. Just pay shipping both ways (CONUS only please).
Additionally: Its not that I don't trust everyone, but if I'm shipping it, I'll need either a good character reference from a trusted member of the board (i.e. a moderator or someone thereabouts), or a deposit via paypal equivalent to what I paid for the tool, refundable in full upon return.
If you're local to Fayetteville, AR you can come pick it up and we can meet face to face, no deposit or references required, just a handshake.
This is an actual Volvo special tool. It is in great shape and will be shipped in its original box. See attached picture. The reason I'm not selling it is because I know I'll have to do this repair again, and finding a dealer who actually stocked this damn thing was a real pain in the arse.

You sir, are a great asset to the board. I don't need the tool now but if/when I do, I know where to look.

+1
Plus, it looks a lot easier to use than a come-a-long attached to a Tahoe! I just hope I remember this post if I have to do the repair - which I'm surprised I've not had to do yet.

Thanks y'all. I found that, though this part helps nominally on extraction (about 20 minutes vs. 4 hours on my first attempt), its much more useful installing the new unit and getting it centered properly in the "sleeve".
And loaning this out is the least I can do, this site has saved me hundreds of hours and dollars keeping my fleet functional while over 120 miles from the nearest dealer / specialist. I also have an Autel EU702 I can help folks with locally, but I won't ship it due to the fact that I use it daily in my Audi.

Ozark Lee started a phenomenal thread on this subject:

Check out the 2nd post on page 2, that shows a (vague) diagram of how to employ this tool.

It would be fantasic if I could borrow the tool. I'll be quick and I'll go with the PayPal option since I'm a new member. I figure I'll need a full day to do both sides and then I'll ship it back again. This is the endlink that is giving me trouble.
