98 v70xc timing tensioner question

Post by btrux0611 »

First timing belt change on a volvo for my self. i've done many hondas and mitsubishis.
Question is. When allback together, timed correctly, and i set the manuel timing tensioner in the middle of the window. tightened the bolt down.
But when turning the engine over a few times slowly everything feels good but i can see the adjuster piece floping back from left to right. depending on the tension at that second. IS THIS NORMAL ??
I just dont wanna start it up yet just incase. thanks.

Another side question. there seem to be two tiny timing marks that i assummed were suppose to surround the timing mark on the block. this is correct right?
