How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. everything in my sig,but i havnt put the cam in it yet,not dyno yet eighter.but i have the same stuff lucky from ard has on his car and thats what he is pushing.im also going to meet up with him in may and we are going to take it on on the freeway and do a custom tune also.fun times ahead.
1995 850t turbo,siver with black leahter interior (perfect),, 118000 miles .second owner.9 out of a 10...!

it can de done with the right parts and with some stock internals but the biggest difference is the tuning in order for you to reach that point safely you will have to tune the engine and that is what cost the most you can add all the parts in the world but without a good tuning session to set the ecu then it is all in vain cause 10000 in parts aint nothing if the motor cant figure out how much air and fuel and timing to maintain itself safely

I've dyno'd many many cars in my life and I'm here to tell you that 99% of the time the REAL horsepower and torque values you ACTUALLY get, and I don't mean "guess on paper", I mean REAL dyno numbers are WAY WAY less than you actually think. I do not know you, nor do I know your car nor is this posting a challenge to you or your claims so don't get pissed off from what I'm about to say. That's not why I'm posting this. Just a friendly warning about touting big HP numbers when you really don't know.

But as an actual EXPERIENCED dyno tuner, I will say that you will be SHOCKED, and I mean literally shocked when you find out how low your at-the-wheel horsepower REALLY is when you actually have it dyno'd...

Ask anyone that actually HAS had their car dyno'd, they'll tell you. Your car NEVER EVER makes as much HP as you "think" it does the FIRST time you hit the dyno. I don't care that some friend has almost the same tune... until the numbers are posted it's nothing more than exaggeration.

So the only advice I have is DON'T go around telling your friends you have a 320 HP Volvo "at-the-wheels" until you've actually done a REAL dyno run... Because you'll end up looking like a tool when you find out it only makes 250... I've read your signature and I'll bet you your REAL number is actually closer to 250 at the wheels (I don't know your car but I know from 22 years of experience). But it's still looks better to your friends when you say 320, huh? Just don't tell them the truth when you find out it's much much less.

Again, I'm NOT trying to dis you so don't write back all mad. I'm just stating as a REAL dyno tuner that the combo you show in your sig is nowhere near 320 "at-the-wheels" even WITH the addition of that intake you're talking about. I'm trying to save you some face when your friends find out it's really 250. And BTW, 250 hp at the wheels is nothing to scoff at. 250 at the wheels is a hot number. It's just not as sexy as telling everyone it's 320...

well lucky has tuned my ecu for what i have in my sig,thats one reason im going to meet up with him and do a custom tune in may.i guess we will see if this is really the truth when the time comes..ill keep you guys posted when i get it all tuned right and hit the dyno.he said that he is running on stock injectors and fuel pump also.im having some fun thats all i know..hell i might not even have 250hp when said and done,but i see no reason not to at all the time and money im putting into this..im also going to have my head ported and polised also.and im guessing it will have just at 290-300hp when said and done,thats what i really shoulod of said from the get go. i dont know what difference it will make after doing the head work,as in hp numbers...

Just set aside some of that money for tires and brakes. Maybe a transmission, too. (For sure tires on the front!!)

just put new tires on it last week,and put new synthetic tranny fluid in also,my friend flused it out 3 times for putting new in it,im getting a trans cooler before long.im not really into doing burnouts though,but do have the need for speed.

The shop I work at has a dyno. My 98 T5 manual, with a eurosport cat back exhaust did 256 and 330 ft lbs. (note, we are at high altitude and the dynojet compensates for sea level and a several other factors). The un-corrected hp was 211.
