One was an 850 and when it came into the pits and was shown and heard running with no tappet rattle I knew it was not a worthy product. You can't run hydraulic tappet engines without oil and not have tappet bleed down.
Youtube have some video's of people killing engines by putting rocks, sand along with oil deprivation and no coolant. It takes a lot to kill a foreign car engine unlike American cars. Freeway or laps without oil is not really that amazing as once it is up to speed there is very little torque on the engine. Look at our fuel computer and see that even normal acceleration from a stop requires a ton of fuel and as soon as the car is up to speed the mileage shows much less fuel consumption to maintain speed if there is grade. I am sure Slick 50 if properly produced without clogging the oil filter will as any additives has significant effects on the engine lubrication.

Swepco however is above all that or else Porsche would not put it in there GT2 and GT3 transmissions out of the factory and have 100,000 change intervals for their engine oils for Commercial and Industrial Accounts when used with their oil analysis programs. UPS, United even Chevron would not be using their products if it is not good.
Blessings,

When I had my 262C I put Slick 50 in it when the cam bearing started knocking. Dove the car another 2 or 3 years until I sold it. Just didn't want to fix the tranny leak and ac. I haven't put it in anything else.
