1998 V70/XC Cross Country - Battery Cables

This may sound like a simple thing, but does anyone know an easy way to change the battery cables on this...Not just the positive and negative but there is also a wire with 4 smaller wires leading to other parts, and the wires are badly corroded. This may be causing a stalling problem, but doesn't seem like as easy of a fix as it should...any suggestions?
