99 v70R tuners.. BSR, RICA, ARD

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

99 v70R tuners.. BSR, RICA, ARD

Post by bugsbunnies95_850t »

anyone who has any info on the tunes please chime in .. bsr and rica boast the same numbers 310 hp 420 nm which is 309 ft lbs.. impressive for sure ard is a little more conservative but may it have a better power curve ? pricing is about the same.. but ards personal care is phenominal as anyone who has dealt with him knows.. i prefer smaller companies for that reason.. but to say you have over 300 is fun to throw around when your in a group of subie owners who think their bad as h*!! .. feedback on all of these tunes please !

I've run a BSR, Upsolute and an ARD.

The ARD is my hands-down favorite, everything just seems right with it, and it's made to order.

The BSR is also good, but too much money for a canned tune.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Green, the 17psi one.

I also tend to look at something aside from the price, and that's accountability/transparency and community participation.

You have people/vendors that are active in the community and those that are not. Those that are part of the community do more than just give a product and take money, they're always around. Being that they're always around, there's some built in accountability there...if there's an issue they're going to take care of it. It's out in the open. If there was somebody comparable to ARD and they were the same price or even less, I'd go with the ARD just because Lucky is always around and accessible.

Then you have others that have no problem reaching out to the community to sell a product and make money, and that's all they have to do with the community itself. I've seen that everywhere.
