SOLD SOLD SOLD
This is such a gorgeous car and the color stops people in their tracks. I don't need to extol the virtues of the V-70R to you on MWS! So I'll attach a couple of pics, send more to those truly interested and tell you about the condition:
Perfect! OK, one very small ding below the door handle on the left passender door. Local ding shop wants $75 to make it go away. It is fully serviced all within 2K miles. I changed/flushed the transmission, did the oil with Mobil 1 5w 30, new Mann filters (air and oil), new Volvo plugs, new coolant (flushed). I have 2 sets of nearly new tires: Michelin Traction Tires for winter (still on the car, less than 3K miles and Hankook all-season (for skeptics of Hankook, read Consumer Reports; They were number 1 last year!), so 2 nearly new outstanding sets of tires!
Has the supreme sound system with the 10" subwoofer. Had it on the local Volvo Dealer's computer last week to look for any codes I couldn't find and there are none. Also asked them to load the latest software for the transmission. It had the latest! If you want something that needs nothing, this is it. You can PM me for more info or questions.
NOTE: Pinstripes are decals, not paint!

Are the pinstripes paint or tape?

Oooh I didn't notice the pinstripes at first. I think it is better without.
I don't think I missed it but is it an AT or MT?. Since you had software checked, I assume its AT. Just want to make sure.
Also glws if you don't hear from me.

The pinstripes came from the dealer but I don't know if it was a factory special or what....they look like a decal type. But I can't "feel" them. Personally I like them a lot....whatever.
The transmission is 6 speed auto with paddle shift.
Miles today...exact: 62,477

It makes a difference
Just carefully pick at one end on one stripe with your fingernail, if it starts to move, it's tape and is easily removed.
So can painted stripes, it just takes more work.
Most people (R buyers) do not like contrasting pin stripes.
If they're absolutely perfect stripes, odds are they're tape.
100% perfect stripes usually cannot be done by hand, those look like tape judging by the way the ends are done, that's usually tape, cut off by a razor

The people who have replied with interest in the car, to date, have no expressed opinion or like it as is. Since you aren't a prospective buyer I really don't care. I'm not going to try to pull one end up just to see what happens. So for I have 4 interested people. It's been listed 24 hours. Not bad.

If anyone is bothered by the stripes (which someone paid money to have installed) and they are tape it just takes an hour or so to remove them with a hair dryer and some finger nails. This is certainly no big deal on a rare and much sought after Sonic R.
Best of luck with the sale.

Wow, it's beautiful! Just picked up a '06 S60R three weeks ago but if I had seen this one, I'd have bought a one-way ticket to Oregon! GLWS

I'm not knocking your R at all. A well kept Sonic V70R with reasonable miles should sell quickly.SimLyons wrote:The people who have replied with interest in the car, to date, have no expressed opinion or like it as is. I was just saying there is a group that don't like them.
I say this from experience, certain (usually younger) buyers are turned off by stripes. So much so, I had to remove them twice on two cars that I had sold before those buyers would take their cars!
I'm sure yours will be gone in a week or so with the stripes still attached.
