Not a direct help but two possibilities:
When I upgraded my 01-07 P2 sedan, I made equivalent wiring harnesses to keep everything "stock". I'm not sure of the subwoofer harness details but it was rather easy once I found the right connectors.
I may go to my favorite pick n pull this holiday week. I am thinking of grabbing the third rwo seats I saw there and saving them for a rainy day or selling them on eBay. I dont remember seeing any subwoofers on the wagons there. Is the harness in place on all wagons from the factory ? If so I can look for one if I go there.

No rhyme or reason which had it or not.
Sub just arrived ($300 brand new, what a steal! complete kit) so as soon as I see what king of connector I need it should be easy enough after that if I can't find a harness
