06 xc90 chassis number location?

06 xc90 chassis number location?

Hi All, I am looking for the chassis number for my 2006 xc90. I have read here that it is located in the engine compartment on the driver side fender well which is not visible due to the fuse panel and other equipment mounted above it. Do I need to remove somthing to look under it? Thanks.

It is stamped right there. no need to remove anything. open hood, stand next to drivers front wheel, and look down. its right there in plain sight...

Thanks I'll look for a stamped #. I was looking for an attached plate of a different color.

The chassis number is the last 6 digits of the VIN.
