Rear tire wear

Hi everyone,

I just took my snow tires off, noticed that the rear ones are worn terribly on the inside of the tread. It's a tapered wear pattern, not scalloped. When standing behind the car the rear wheels look as if they are tilted inward at the top. It's my understanding that there's no adjustment for that on this model. Would worn bushings cause this? I replaced the pass side trailing arm linkage a while ago, and both rear bearing assys. The summer tires that were used after that show no uneven wear.
It is a wagon and I do haul lots of stuff in in as well as the ocassional trailer.
The rear of the car doesn't appear to be any lower than usual, but I have nothing to compare it to.

Any insight greatly appreciated.

Hi Krikkit,

Please find a link discussing rear alignment as it can be complicated and should be check out by a shop that has someone on staff that specializes in alignment rather than just a tire store or average mechanic. The exceptional Master Mechanic that I use is weak on Alignments and farms the work out.
