Havent seen a pic of yours lately

Its going to be the wife's car here in a month or two when I go off to the airforce. >.< so ive been getting it all 100% on the mechanic side so im not worrying about her while im away.

Car meet next weekend, then engine work the weekend after. Should be fun.

My 850 isn't pretty any longer

. From a distance, maybe, but too many scrapes and dings here and there. I'm embarrassed to show it here. Plus I cracked my R chin spoiler, like a doofus. Ran up a curb on a sharp turn -- gravel. Ugh. I try not to beat myself up too much for that.

The 2004 V70 R my ex has, so that's gone. I neglected my 850 for 1.5 years while I concentrated on the V70. Then it goes. C'est la vie I suppose.

My loose plan now is to get to stage 1 or 2, add lowering springs, better brakes, tires, then have it repainted, bodywork and spoiler fixed. The interior and mechanicals are very good, mileage is only 110k miles. It's actually faster than it's ever been. It's a good sleeper.

Sorry to hear, Have you tried some bondo, sanding, and paint? If you do the body work your self it will cut down on the costs big time.

Dang, that is some seriously low mileage! Im getting close to 220k now. ripping the engine apart soon to replace some seals.

Drop a 18t, front mount, ARDideas blue tune, and you should have a pretty fun car for not very much money.
Not sure if you have upgraded the exhaust yet, but obx runs around 3-400$ and is a nice upgrade with their 3" downpipe.

I am happy with the new look I have given the '93 850. After the front end was damaged I searched for Alter 1 bumpers and was quickly discouraged. I had been pulling parts from a '96 that was also white and decided to try the bumper. The price was right, $36.20 for everything, bumper reinfocement bar, absorber, top cover and spoiler included.
I kept the large Alter 1 headlights and corner lights and changed the side moldings to the large Alter II.

The subframe straightening was a tedious process. It was an experiment for me, but I believe it was a success, even with limited tools and workspace.
