Looking to buy a 2005 V50-T5 AWD, good car? What to look for?

Post by adk793 »

We are looking at a fully loaded (except navigation) 2005 Volvo V50 T5 with 87K miles. I took it out for a drive, it drove exactly like a volvo should, everything was good, smooth and quiet. It did have a small squeek coming from the rear when going around turns. All 4 tires were pretty low on life, the owner said he doesnt get mroe than 25K miles on them. I waas wondering if anyone has had direct experience with these cars, what to expect, what are some common problems, what to look for? Ive had as S70 (good experince) and V70 XC, terrible experience. So are these reliable cars? Anything to look for? For $11K asking price, is this a good deal?
