heater blowing cold air intermittently

2006 S60 when heater is turned on hot air blows, then cold air, then hot air, this goes on continiously. Altinating hot and cold air

Sometimes fluff accumulates behind the grill where is located the cabin temperature sensor. This is the small grill that you see on the front panel of the climate control. Take your shop-vac and vaccum the fluff behind the opening.

The sensing device may be fouled by the debris (the clear pin head under the grill). Some had reported success with this method.

Other than this, you can have the car scanned by VIDA to see if you have fault codes. Also software updates may be available at the dealer.
