ECC Flashing After Disconnect

Post by AU-S40 »

I removed my ECC unit to replace the bulbs. I did not disconnect the battery or wait for five minutes. I just plugged the unit back up and everything seems to be working, but the orange lights are flashing at startup. Is the ecc blown or does it just need to be reset? I have a DiCE unit ordered from China. Do I have to have a software download to reset the module? I am starting to get a little worried.Everything was working fine, I was just trying to replace all of my console bulbs.

the ECC on that car is not a reloadable module. The lights can blink because it lost its calibration of the doors and it will self calibrate when car goes over 6 mph.

Thank you so much. I just took it for a quick drive and everything seems to be fine. Do you know of a place to get the replacement bulbs?
