I'm thinking $4,900 is reasonable after looking around at the other T5-R's being sold.
Here's a quick run down of the Good and the Bad (that I know of):
Good:
- Timing belt/water pump replaced at 135k when I bought the vehicle almost 4 years ago.
- Over the past couple years I've been in the process of re-Stage 0'ing it. I've replaced the fuel pump, worn vacuum lines, plug wires, worn coolant hose, cap/rotor (recent), spark plugs (every 6k, recently done), Air Filter (recent), oil change w/mann filters every 3-4k
- Vehicle has almost a fully reconditioned brake system. I had my mechanic replace the lines, calipers, rotors, and pads about a year ago. End links and passenger side control arm replaced at that time as well.
- Brand new (less than 1k) All Seasons mounted to 16" Columbias (on the car now), plus I have a set of Michelin X-Ice mounted on 15"
- No CEL
- A/C is ice cold
- Recent Rear O2 sensor replacement in the past year
- IPD CBV (Stock Spring - but blue and red springs available)
- New front struts last September
- No rust
- Clean Carfax. It's been a while since I looked at it, but I believe I'm the 3rd owner. Owner before me (I believe he was a Doctor) from Austin, TX who picked it up off a lease. I bought it in San Antonio.
- Couple paint chips and indentations on hood. A few parking lot scuffs on doors. Back bumper has a few scuffs. But paint overall is in good condition with no oxidation.
- Driver's seat has wear tear on side bolster. Seat belt push button is cracked, but 100% working.
- Passenger's seat has that problem with the cable coming loose on the back side so the recline function doesn't fully work. It's a fairly straightforward job from what I've read on the forums, but I just haven't gotten around to it and the seat is in a comfortable position.
- Slow Oil leak from around oil filter.
- Small chip on the edge of the passenger's side windshield. Out of field of view.
- Passenger tie rod possibly needs replacing soon.
- Taillights had Nightshades on them, but a cop made me scrape it all off. I'm still waiting to refinish my taillights back to looking new. As they are, they are fully functional and passed Texas inspection last September.
- Front bumper has a crack in the lower splitter, but it's not noticeable.
- I have the original OEM rear spoiler, but the mounting brackets are broken.
