C30 2010 seat adjuster just spinning

Hi ,

the manual drivers seat adjust on my c30 is just spinning and does not adjust the seat, the seat is in an ok position but would like the option to move it, how big of a job is it to repair do i need any special knowledge.

any help to point me in the right direction would be great
