Volvo After-market Bluetooth Software Upgrade?

I have a 2008 C70. At the time I purchased the car, I had the optional bluetooth telephone and iPod integration accessory installed. It has worked flawlessly. However, I am now wondering if there is the possibility of getting a system software upgrade. I know that there has been at least one major Bluetooth software upgrade since then, maybe more.

Has anyone ever heard of this? When I ask my local dealer about this in the Service Department, I get the 'deer in the headlights look.'

Any suggestions?

Everything gets software upgrades these days. I even had to get a software upgrade for my Sony DVD player at home.

There must be an upgrade for the Bluetooth software by now.

I know that they do upgrade the software of Bluetooth devices from time to time to keep up with new devices on the market.
You could always try looking up the company the after market stuff is from and see if they know anything about updates or new software for their devices if you get the same response or lack there of, and everything is running smoothly i wouldn't bother. I also have a blue tooth set up through my aftermarket pioneer deck and I'm going to look more into this whole update thing also.
