Headlight lens
Headlight lens
Greetings from Central Kentucky. My left position indicator(parking) light in the headlight lens burned out. I removed the headlight lens assembly. The owners manual indicated to remove the "highbeam bulb" to gain access to the parking light bulb. While trying to dislodge the "highbeam bulb" I dislodged the complete lens assembly. I can see tab type snaps and the relative postions but for the the life of me I can't get the assembly to snap back togather. I've not found any broken pieces....any suggestions or comments....anything will be appreciated.
According to the dealership...."there is no way to reattach the reflectors inside the headlight housing". I finally managed to reposition the shiney bulb reflectors by cutting a hole in the top of the housing above the upper attachment point/tab/slot. But I'm still unable to remove the "position indicator light". Which is the small light bulb(5watt)between the 2 large twist in slot bulbs. According to the owners manual you pull on the wires to remove the bulb. There absolutely no way to get your hand any where close to the bulb base. DOES ANY ONE know how the bulb is attached? Any comments or suggestions appreciated.
