Part identification help needed

I found this small rubber part on the floor of my porch some time ago. It was somewhere between the rear wheel passenger and the boot antenna side (mine is a RH drive). The grey plastic was already disintegrated and it was dry (no oil nor liquid). This grey plastic is small a funnel leading into this "L"-shaped rubber. The other end appears to be open. I figure it must be some drain hose but could not find the hole where it came from. Appreciate if you could let me know the part number and the larger part it belongs to and its purpose.

Looks like a vacuum hose elbow. Check in your engine compartment for missing or loose vacuum hoses.

Dear KlubMarcus,

I went through some vacuum hose diagrams but still no luck in locating the mysterious part. Any how will go about looking at the car again. Surprisingly (touch wood), the car has been running fine so far without it for months. Many thanks.
