Rear Swaybar Link

Ok I have searched and it seems to be a pretty common problem. Is there a reason for this? Is there some upgrade out there that can remedy the problem or getting one from FCP Ok? Also, I don't have the funds right now, can I take it off and ride like that for awhile. Its probably not doing its job anyway.

Also when taking off the drivers side I can't seem to find how to take that part off. Sorry for the noob questions. I try to research and figure it out before asking question that have been asked over and over so be gentle with me.

Does it slip into the bracket or whatever its called and bolt in from the top?

It looks like I have to get an alignment after install so I guess that answers the question about taking it off for now, anyway...

There are no REAR swaybar LINKs on your car (only on '01 and newer Volvo's).
The swaybar itself bolts up to the car. Here, maybe this will help:

Although this bar is from IPD, the style and installation is the same.
