After no delays in responses from MVS Mavericks the cooling and heating project, water pump, thermostat, radiator, and tb service, was a huge success for me.

Introduced to PCV along the way, this is the kit I found for 97 850 NA products/5436/115322-pcv-breather-system-kit-1993-1997-850-non-turbo.

Would this be a good time for tune up?

I now have tools for this job. Added a set of magnetic sockets for 1/4" drive, and flex ratchet wrench. Looked around the work area for comfort.
If recommended, I would try the crimp clamp with Oetiker.
I believe, these are fixed size clamps, there are 4 clamps of one size, and 2 of other, total of 6.
What are these two sizes?
OR should I stick to worm type?

I've used both. Kinda like the Oetiker clamps but they are only one time use. IPd will ship you the worm style while FCP will ship you the others. I guess you'll use whatever comes in the kit.

The two worm sizes are 22-32 (x2), and 15-24 (x4).
The oetiker/crimp kind clamp is sold with ring dimension in mm. I will look at FCP kit online.

There are several steps before getting to intake manifold, hence PCV parts replacement. There is IAC, and throttle control with their clamps, hoses, connectors, flame trap, and more. It is hard to bypass if these two need care, cleaning and replacing.

How to prevent failure of these two?

I am starting out with IAC and its hoses, which are not clamped on the other end.
The clamp is new to me, the design suggests, these are reusable, is it?
Is hose quality a visual inspection?

The two 12mm bolts underside the intake man, one fastening the dipstick assembly, are not a straight shot from below, even if I remove the air guide/pan. It would have to be worked out from the above.

Learning from fuel filter replacement, the bracket was twisted while removing the old fuel filter. Is there a need for PB Balster, would turning bolt twist and damage the bracket holding the dipstick assembly?
