Dextron II D replacement

My manual calls out Dextron II D (87 240DL) for tranmission fluid. I'm not having luck finding it. Is there a replacement ?

Use ATF labeled "Dextron III Mercon". This will work just fine in your car. This is the latest version of Dextron on the market. I just changed the ATF in my 740 and used this type fluid. The car shifts great and runs fine. You could use ATF+4 if D/M is not available. Don't use Type F!

Volvo recommends synthetic atf for manual transmissions.
