Windshield washer motor won't turn off - 1998 V70

I went to use my windshield washers and the motor stuck on and would not turn off, even if I turned the engine and ignition completely off. I had to disconnect fuse #34. When I put it back in a day later the motor ran for a bit but turned off this time. Any suggestions on what I should check to fix that? It's happened 3 or 4 times, so just removing the fuse doesn't reset it. Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd flip the washer control a few times rapidly in case it's a dirty switch. Probably need to replace the washer switch though.

The park switch in wiper motor is stuck or the cam that opens it is worn. The park switch runs the motor until it reaches the parked position and then the cam opens the switch to stop the motor. If it does not go open then it doesn't stop.

Thank you both for the replies. I'll check the motor- the control switch seems fine, but I'll check that, too.
