So my '04 2.5T decided to stall out on my wife yesterday. Luckily, it was right next to our house so our friendly neighbor helped her push it to the side of the street.
Anyway, the symptoms of it are, the car will start, then as it attempts to idle, it will stall. It sort of feels like it is flooding. I disconnected the MAFS and started the car and it starts and idles great. However, when I replaced the MAFS with a replacement from Beck Arnley, it started up, ran about 15 seconds, then died again in the same manner. Does anyone have any recommendations? It isn't throwing any codes of any sort (unless I pull the MAFS wire).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alright, so I figured it out. It looks like there was about a 2" tear in the upper hose connecting to the intercooler. That explains why it kept dying because the MAFS was giving the ECU a reading, there was a huge vacuum leak in the system. Anyway, a $57 fix and the MAFS is being returned.
