Thanks lee. So 2 green clips and 4 o rings? Chances are pretty good that I'll need them?

My green clips were so brittle that they just shattered when I pulled the hoses out, the O rings looked OK but I changed them anyway. The car did overheat severely though which may have made the clips worse than normal.

The O rings appear to be a different formulation than the standard black O rings, more like an air conditioning O ring.

Is that the right quantity? 2 clips and 4 rings? Also, I have been researching the dropping of the radiator. Is this a good write up: http://volvospeed.com/volvo_repairs_how ... ement.html ? I see where you (Lee) take the fan out where as this write up does not. Just trying to prepare for the job. Do you know any good links to write ups on this? Thanks again

The quantity is correct. I do take the fan off, it is simple to remove and it gives you a lot more room.
