S80 a/c fan continues to run

I have a 2000 S-80 non-turbo with 148,000 miles. When I turn off the car after using the a/c the fan continues to run blowing air into the passenger compartment. This occurs even if I turn off the a/c before exiting the car. It typically runs for 10 minutes or so before stopping. Any ideas?

It's OK. Don't give so much attention to that. Mine is running too.
Other thought: 50 minutes after shutting down the engine, if te ECC i left to auto the fan for the interior starts working on it's max speed for aprox 7 minutes. That's OK, too. The reason is that this way the pipes dries out preventing the system from microogranismus and the bad smell, you know.

I have 2001 s80 T6 and that is a normal fuction as was said earlier it comes on after 50 mins after key is removed just climate control doing its job. Read your manual it will explain it.
