Hurray!!! Excellent job - did you get it all back together and it ran the first time?

Sorry I was MIA a bit on this topic; for some reason, the site hasn't been alerting me when people reply to posts.

It took me a bit of trial and error before I found out that the intake manifold bracket was jammed in between, and then, confident that I was as as good of a mechanic as I thought (I'm not), I blew off a turbo air hose in the middle of a busy road :D

Did you end up replacing the oil trap box or cleaning and reusing?

Yes. My daughter cried a bit when she saw it all apart, asked dad please...
All new Volvo Crankcase Ventilation non-turbo 5-cylinder parts from local steelership at a marginal difference. I am ok with little more money for accurately fitting parts.
Changed oil and filter. No leaks, not a drop. It is quiter at idle, quicker in response, no odor, keeping an eye on mpg.
I may take on complete front suspension around thanksgiving.
