03 V70 High Beam Issue

So my V70 started doing this weird thing where the hi beams will come on very randomly. Sometimes when I use the blinkers, it will come on then shut off after a few seconds. Sometimes it will come on when I hit a bump. Now its gotten so bad that it will come on and stay on when its parked!! Arming the alarm will also make the hi beams come on and stay on....

Now, the DIM on this car is in need of repair, I have the typical issue of the scrambled display, inop blinker indicators. Is the hi beam issue related to the broken DIM, or is it something else?

Well...I sent the DIM in for repair to xemodex. I'll let you know if that fixed it.

How did Xemodex work out for you? I need to get the DIM fixed in my 2002 V70 and am considering them. Thanks.
I used to make fun of Volvos. Then, I started a family.
