VADIS for TB, water pump, aux belt, upper torque mount...

Post by MixEngineer »

Hello, would anyone be willing to share the VADIS (or whatever) for a 2004 XC90, 2.5T AWD, for timing belt, water pump, auxiliary belt and upper torque mount replacement (the one with the polyurethane bushing that's prone to cracking)?

I would be greatly appreciative. I know these are simple procedures, but I do like to pay close attention to torque specs, so that's mainly why I ask.

Thanks ahead of time.

Can anyone pdf the few pages that discuss these procedures and torque specs? I'm not asking to have someone's VADIS or VIDA disc, just wondering if someone is willing to pdf the topics for the forum.

Thanks again.

Was finally able to perform this maintenance this weekend. Went well but very time-consuming. The tensioner was not set properly when removed (all the way to the left, but ambient temperature was 70 deg F). I replaced everything including the pulley and tensioner and set the new tensioner correctly. I had previously been experiencing startup issues where it would turn over but then conk out. That's not happening any longer. I suspect the improper tension on the old timing belt was the cause of the startup issues.

FYI.

Hope this may help someone.
