Looked at a 98 V70 T5M today. Issues inside

I've got a lead on some cleaner looking cars that I'm going to go with.
Like I said, this one is probably better left to someone with more experience and time

I really want an 850 Wagon or V70... but not if it's going to break me.

So he tells me after going through his records that the PCV hasn't been replaced in at least 200k miles. So it's probably just that if someone wants it.

If it's been that long, I'd be worried about the integrity of the cam seals and RMS.

Would the cam seals be what's leaking oil onto the manifold?

Yep.

Honestly, just run away from this car and don't look back. Too much work. There are much nicer Volvos out there.

good to know.
The paint looks pretty badly oxidized, but the interior is solid and the mechanicals will be solid for the price I'd pay.
