What to buy, how to DIY this 302mm brake upgrade. It's pretty easy, same as changing rotors and pads. The only difference is you putting on a new caliper hanger -- two bolts.
Make sure you don't have Columba wheels, unless you shave/grind metal off the stock calipers.
This is where I'm stalled: I have the upgrade kit and Columbas. I don't want to take material off the calipers, but I don't have the dough for new tires&wheels. I am looking on Craigslist and our Volvo Parts Classifieds, and will jump if I see a good deal. I want 17's, regardless of doing or not doing this upgrade.

I saw this the other day and it is a great video. He did a great job of using proper technique, tools and lubricants ( go Kroil - I Like Silikroil better www.kanolabs.com). It turns out he is a customer of FCP.
