C30 2010 water pours from fender

Post by Jot »

After days of rain I find the rear passenger floor wet. A day later when I turned sharply to the left in a parking lot I noticed wet pavement that was water coming from my right front wheel well . In an open parking lot I did many complete circles to the left and water flowed from the car. Not so in a right turn.Do I assume that this would be a sun roof drain problem?

Sunroof drain at the bottom of BOTH "A" posts were disconnected where they join a fitting that dumps the water into the wheel well. This was found while the windshield was being replaced. This week I had noticed moisture dripping from the center top of the windshield. The entire top of the glass was not glued down as the primer had failed. Portland Volvo told me a fair number of cars they have seen have this glue failure. An easy check for a windshield is place your hand inside and press upwards it is easy to see the glass move. Another way is close the car doors and windows turn the fan on high and if the air is leaking a squeal can be heard. If outside the car push down on the glass and it will stop
