98 s70 t5, ECU question.
98 s70 t5, ECU question.
Car runs great, it has a problem with EVAP system ,after many test suspected ECU may be the problem,swap engine ECU with one of the same car model year and part number, car still runs great but it does not complete drive cycle yet after of about a month of driving the car, what could be the problem?

Getting the readiness monitors to set is a real challenge on the Motronic systems.
Pull the battery battery cable and start at zero again. After everything is reset to factory default, follow the drive cycle instructions listed in this link.

And it still may not reset...I tried a number of times.
Check with your local emissions program office if it doesn't.
