My 2006 S60 is experiencing intermittant starting problems. About once a month, when I start it (warm engine), it sputters badly and shakes. If I turn off the ignition and re-start it, it starts OK. Occasionally the check engine light comes on with the following codes:
ECM120D - Intake air sensor/Air mass flow - low signal
121B - MAF Low Flow
212D - Fuel Trim Bank 1 - Low
21ED - Fuel Trim Bank 1 - Low
216D - Fuel Trim Bank 1 - Low
The Air Mass Meter was replaced 2 years ago and I would be surprised if it went bad so soon. Any suggestions?

I had this exact problem on my car for a few years and it really only acted up in the fall and winter but was getting worse.
The car has a 2.4T low pressure turbo with 130,000 miles .
I just replaced all 5 coils with the IPD HD coils only because the original coils were 10 years old and I had my suspitions.
When I inspected them, I found that all 5 of the original coils were cracked on the side opposite to the connector under the insulation boot about 1 inch long.
The codes are most likely the result of the engine having trouble starting.
I first noticed the problem when my car was about the age of yours.
I have not had any trouble starting this year like I did last year.
I selected the IPD HD coils because they were half the price of the dealer and offer a 20% stronger spark.
hope this helps
