The oil was changed just 2 months ago...it doesn't
leak or burn oil, so THAT shouldn't have caused
this compression issue. I don't run the car hard,
only around town and like I said all seemed fine
until I went through about 8 inches deep of water
about 6 feet long at about 35/40 mph..then started losing power/compression...
Any more suggestions anyone? It's my only car...

Well it looks like you will need to use more oil to restore compression, if this doesn't work you may need to sight the timing marks to be certain your belt hasn't slipped afew notches and destroyed your valves.

If compression is not an issue, do not forget to doublecheck your firing order 
Example of Precision: Measure with a Micrometer, mark it with Chalk, and then cut it with an Axe.
