Re: AWD Prop shaft replacement.

I am sad to report that my drive shaft has bit the dust again in less than a year and somewhere around 20k miles. This time it was the CV joint on the front of the shaft. I had to take it in because I could not diagnose it myself. I was pretty sure it was coming from that area of the car. However, didn't feel like working my ass off to take it off to prove to myself it was the drive shaft. I called the guys at Colorado Drive shaft and he said he would rebuild it for free. However, this has been going out since Sept, when it started making a slight noise. It got worse and worse until I brought it to a shop. So much better now that it is off. The guy at Co Drive Shaft said he would be gone for a week. Good thing it has been so damn dry I don't need my AWD. Well, I guess it is sure to snow now. Just wanted to update. Sorry for the bad news about the company, but at least they are standing by their product.
