CAI install. Am I on the right track?

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

CAI install. Am I on the right track?

Post by timmyc »

So I am driving through the Wal-Mart parking lot and I spy this clever installation of a CAI, and I think to myself "Dude has finally nailed the perfect CAI install. Easy to tell when the element is dirty, no worries about getting road debris or water in the MAF, definitely pulling cold air...... GENIUS!"

So my question is, has anyone ever cut a big hole in their hood and will it look funky next to my faux hood scoop?

Have fun with this one

I thought about putting a NACA duct in my 760's hood back when I had that car. Pretty sure it wouldn't have made any difference.
