I pulled one of the burnt bulbs from the holder, it was wound on pretty tight. I'm not sure I could do the same, does it have to be as perfect?

Went the Radio Shack route, 2 for $4.99. Holders are brittle, so you have to be careful when removing old bulbs. Works perfect.

okay i got the replacements for these bulbs off Ipd but i took these bulbs out a while back and lost them therefore i lost the blue gels on the bulbs i put the ipd bulbs in and they give off a red light and hte oens that arent burnt out and that werent take out give off a white light so i had to take all the bulbs out and take the blue gels off so it at least all matches. but they look just god aweful is there anyway i can buy bulbs that have the blue gels for my entire front console im talking the heating and audio controls anyone who can help me with this please do it looks sooo terrible!

Hello, I have problem. Then I changed bulbs, noone ligts up

Before that, only one bulb glowed. Any ideas where is problem?

Problem found and fixing it at the moment.

After doing this job I thought I would post the updated part# I recieved from the Honda Dealer. 35505-S84-B02 is the new number. Not much different but it is current.

I have several radio light bulbs if anyone needs some. I also have bulbs for the control switches like the sunroof, fog light switches. PM me if you need some.

Thank you for an excellent guide to bulb replacement. Easy to follow and understand. I sourced bulbs from ebay got a pack of 10 for £11.50. Unfortunately, the radio dash still does not light up. Everythings works fine on teh radio/CD/casette player but the lights. Any suggestions on what might be the problem or what I can do fic problem?

Ona separate note I also followed the bulb replacement for the gear shift light (volvo s70 saloon) and thatfixed teh problem.

My guess would be that your problem likely lies with the ribbon connection. Unplug it and reconnect it. Be careful because they do separate sometimes.

Related question, the POWER button (to turn radio ON and Off) seems tired.
I can turn the radio on and off but hear no click.
Is there info somewhere what on/off switch from RadioShack can do this trick?
