radio replacement

My 2002 s60 2.4t has an after market radio in it.
How hard might it be to put in a stock radio off of ebay?
Will it need any code or reprogramming from my volvo dealer?
I would like to use my stering wheel controls for the radio.
Do the stock radio sound good?
The unit in my car is and Eclipse cd2000 and it does sounds good to me but with
the stock unit I could use the tape deck with a mp3 player adapter and that would be great also.
Just curious what others opinions on this are?

Before you go buy anything pull the HU out and see how the PO wired up the unit. 50/50 chance he just cut wires.
