Swapping S/V-70 wiper assembly into 850?

I've got a 1995 850 GLE wagon. The transmission on my front wipers has pooched and a quick search of the local scrapyards has turned up a 98 V-70 that is being parted out. My question is whether I can swap the wiper assembly from the V-70 directly into my 850? If not, are at least the motor & linkage swappable?

The part numbers are different but my guess is that they will swap. Many of our members have swapped out the arms out from the 850 series arms to the 70 series arms. I wold snap some detailed pictures and then look carefully 70 series parts to see if the mounting system looks the same. If you can get them cheap enough I would go for it. If they do work let us know.
