Anyone got one of these?

Post by Alwick »

I'd like to replace my plastic spark plug/valve cover with the "20 Valve" designation as mine has a nice big crack in it where someone (not me) dropped it.
The picture is not mine, but it's what I'm looking for. Also would like new bolts T30 torx?
Thoughts on where I can find one without going to a slavage yard or ebay?

I have 2 of these sitting in my garage.
The problem is shipping cost.

PS: Ebay has it for $20 incl. shipping:

I would be happy to pay shipping plus cost of the part.
I have had bad luck with ebay in the past and I'd prefer not to have to go that route.

Maybe I am odd, but I find this cosmetic cover useless, I remove it on purpose.
Now I can visually check:
- spark plug wires
- oil spill (yes, when you fill oil, if you are not careful, the oil will spill and collect under the plastic cover).

Anyway, get the cover from erik.

Me too.
It's the first thing I removed when I got the car. Second was the cover over the throttle.

I like my covers, the compartment looks better with them.

that funny you guys take them off too. i leave the throttle cover and the top cover off as well. i find the torx bolts a pain to get off and the cover just hides any oil you may have creeping out of your oil cap.

That's why I like it. Stupid engine is always leaking oil.

I like having mine for cosmetic reasons as well.
