My 850, 2.4L, 10V, NA,1995 hasn't got a central rear "stop" light. That was the very last model (in Europe) not having it.
I intend to install one but wonder about the electrical connection.
Should I just connect it to one of the other stop light (+) or should I connect it to both (+) as I believe connecting to one of the two only might affect the "blown bulb" detection system.
Any feedback or (simple) wiring diagram will be much appreciated.

No, I would just connect it to one stop light and see if it works. I would not connect it to both, one connection would do it, I am not sure if your bulb out light function will be upset though

I put a third stop light on a 740 some years ago and wired it to only one of the other stop lights. The bulb out light came on. Apparently it was designed to work with an even number of bulbs. An auto-electrician advised wiring it from the stop light switch on the brake pedal, which I did. I do not know if wiring to both stop lights would overcome the problem.
