Sometimes when passing on 2nd hand info the meaning gets lost .
Anyway....good luck , I'm outa this one
No, it's not that. I can speak for him because I've run this site for over a decade and I've seen it all, and memorized half of it.pkuevor wrote:...because I am a WOMAN.

Let's clear this one: Since you are mentioning AC and REC lights, I would assume you are referring to an intermittent problem with the HVAC Blower, not the Engine Cooling Fan, correct? The fan has also been on and off
Yes you are correct it is the HVAC blower.regent wrote:Let's clear this one: Since you are mentioning AC and REC lights, I would assume you are referring to an intermittent problem with the HVAC Blower, not the Engine Cooling Fan, correct? The fan has also been on and off
If so:
1. On the Electronic Climate Control Units, flashing status indicator lights would mean 'stuck button detected', which points to a dirty or damaged button contact, traces, or wiring incide the ECCU.
In your case, this is intermittent, and could be a consequence of spillage and dust accumulation.
2. When the blower is working, can you change its speed up and down?
Awesome. I think there is a filter but I will make the bf diagnose everything you guys are suggesting.cn90 wrote:I listen to the video that you posted earlier, I suspect there is some debris in the blower itself.
Do you have a cabin filter installed or not?
- If not, install a cabin filter.
- Chances are debris gets inside the blower motor itself.
Remove the blower area and clean it for now. D/C battery first!
